Whether you are taking a break at the water cooler or heating up your lunch, this is one of the moments of the day when you can relax. Familiarity and frequent visits make your office break room the best spot to post the fire escape plans. You may already have bulletin boards there. Posting an evacuation plan here will give it the exposure it needs. This can make a dramatic difference in case of a fire.
Where You Cannot See an Exit
There are many reasons why commercial spaces have those noticeable, backlit “exit” signs. In a perfect world, such a sign would be visible all the time, from wherever you are in the office.
